We were getting repairs to the rudder after we lost it in a rough storm in the Falkland Islands.
Christmas and New Year in Monte', were nice, relaxing and warm.

Earlier days in HM Naval Base Singapore.

Royal Fleet Auxiliary - RFA Wave Ruler - Gan
Anchored permanently off the island of Gan, in the Indian
Ocean. RFA Wave Ruler was a bunkering station for
ships in the area. They were not too isolated as RAF Gan
was situated on the island.

RFA Tidespring alongside in Gibraltar with two Rovers
for company. This was part of a large annual exercise with
the fleet, which ended up going to the Falklands War.
