Replenishment at Sea (RAS)

RFA's Resurgent and Retainer on a ras in the
Indian Ocean. Two lovely old ladies of the sea
Both ships have long since retired, you may
have shaved with some of their remains!

HMS London, guided missile destroyer being
stored from RFA Resurgent.

Stores being transferred between
Regent and Resurgent, weather was a little

The old ladies, Retainer and Resurgent.
They were 'chatty' old ships, but just about
everyone who sailed them enjoyed working there.
Many stayed on them for years, 9, 14 and more!

One of the larger tankers of the old fleet.
Derwentdale somewhere east, topping
up, one of the old Tide boats.
